As you understand I can not tell anything about the snow next week, I can only tell you what the situation is today (Feb 13th). For the moment we are having really strong winds combined with snowfall, temperature is -5 C.
It's not so much snow i the lower parts around Abisko Turiststation but it's no problem to ski the trail. Snowdepth in the forrest is 30-60 cm but less in open spaces. The ice on lakes and rivers along Kungsleden is good and thick.
The only part of Kungsleden with a lack of snow is the "Keron-climb" after Abiskojaure. There most of snow has blown away in the last storm for a strech of aprox 3 km and only left an ice track for skiers. Once you are up in the mountains, conditions are good with a snowdepth of about 50-150 cm. More snow the further south you get, Kebnekaise is reporting more than 100 cm in the valley and a lot more on the peaks!
