I totally agree.
Anyone who whas been in place when an accident has occured and then reads about it in the newspaper has big difficulties in beliving that they really has been there.
That means that we have to be very critical when reading reports about mounting rescues. Some of those rescues will always be unnecessary and the only thing we should do is trying to inform unexperienced hikers better.
Also the net income from tourists in Sweden is a significant contribution to our gross national product. There is 169 000 people working in the tourist trade (both domestic and foreign) in Sweden.
Foreign tourists will always be welcome in Sweden (of obvious reasons) and we look forward to see you again!
