That knife is fantastic. I use my knife all the time. It is a perfect size and an excellent general use knife. I keep it very sharp at all times because it seems to me that if I let it get dull, it would take a lot of work to resharpen.
The shape is great for what I do with it. General farm utility work. The micarta handle is extremely grippy, which is great when my hands get covered in slick Maryland clay (working in the garden).
Janene only uses her knife in clean, indoors activities and basically spends more time looking it at. But I guess if my knife looked like that, I'd be more hesistant to use it cut loose baling twine out of the manure spreader too.
My knife would make an excellent production model, just as it is.
