Paddla på Vänern

Hi!
It´s possible to take a trip on lake Vänern in april. There will probably be no icecover left then. But you have to be experienced and you need a sea-kayak!

The water is still very cold in april (Just a few degrees above zero!). Chose an archipelago for your trip. That will make it easier for you to be safe if it´s bad weather. If you are not used to sea kayaking I recommend you to chose another lake or lake system for example the great lakes in Dalsland west of Vanern!

I am already experienced in sea kayaking so no need to worry.I paln a round trip if the weather is on my side.
Have been in Dalsland too. Its really nice but pretty full and no fish.

How about fishing in Vänern?
