Water in the nothern part of Bohusleden

Hi, we're planning to go for a 2-night hike in the last two parts of bohusleden (26-27, Krokstrand - Strömstad). I have not found any info about water sources there.

I'd really like to ask for an advice from more advanced hikers.

Is it hard to find water?
Is it safe to drink water without boiling?
If no, is boiling good enough?

Thanks

There are some small rivers some kilometers after the top of Björnerödpiggen on the first stage. Then you can ask people in the village of Högstad (the end of the stage), for tab water.

On the last stage I didn't find any drinkable water, just muddy small streams. But there are also some houses you come by and some farms you cross, so you could ask for water there.

Generally, boiling the water is enough. Sometimes I use a catadin water cleansing pill instead. In early summer there are sometimes a lot of mosquito larvae in the water- I drank the water with all of the "extra" but having a simple filter, like a coffee filter, would have been nice.
