Equipment in Namche Bazaar..? Posted 9-6-2001 19:41

Hi! This is my first trip to Nepal and I'm planning on combining it with some other things to do in Asia. Therefore my ability to bring regular equipment is limited. I'm walking from Jiri, past Namche, to Gorak Shep, and hopefully across Cho La to Goyko. For this I expect to need: Good sleeping bag, down jacket, a good stove and possibly also crampoons, tent, ice axe (if things work out to it's worst I might have to pick up at pair of boots for walking in cold conditions as well). Can I rely on being able to rent that in Namche? Resonable prices? I relly would love anyone who had time to answer to this! Other tips on websites covering the area is more than welcome!! /Jonas
