Jag tenkar gå för et Double Rainbow, någon tips om hur man enklest muligt hentar det ifrån USA? En av er skulle ha nått på sin hemsida, det kunne jag inte hitta. Andre ting jag bör tenke på? Bör jag beställa samtidigt ekstra guy lines eller stakes ? Så ut som litt konstiga stakes, nån som har ärfarenhet med dom? Av det jag ser på bilden ser dom lite tjokka ut, som tjokka pennor?
Dette svarade Henry the man på mina bekymringer om lengden:
"All Tarptent models are long enough to
handle a "long" sleeping bag (up to 6'7") because the floors are
all inset
several inches from the canopy and the canopy ends are vertical or near
vertical. The 88" floor on the Double Rainbow will easily accommodate
you.
Conventional tents have floors that go all the way to the canopy edge AND
have inwardly sloping walls at the head and foot which make the actual
useable floor length much less than stated length. Not the case with
Tarptents. In the case of the Double Rainbow, there is a 4" dead air
buffer
at each end of the 88" floor and canopy is still about 2' above the floor
edge at that point. No chance of bumping into the canopy within the floor
perimeter.
The Double Rainbow floor can expand another 4" at the ends (if you put
pressure on the floor walls). For good weather that's fine, for bad weather
just stay within the normal perimeter. The same is true for the Rainbow. The
Rainbow and Double Rainbow are the longest tents we make and, as stated
earlier, will easily handle occupants up to at least 6'7" (6'7" =
79")"
