This map is not updated anymore, since there are very little snow left and SMHI doesn't take readings in the mountains any longer.

It seems it is going to be a record year, it is very little snow left and with luck, most of it will be gone when you start. Svenska Turistförmedlingen (STF) and their staff at their huts will be able to give more detailed information on the particular sections of the trail you will be visiting https://www.swedishtouristassociation.com

The STF cabins along Northern Kungsleden will open for the season on June 23rd, except the northernmost ones (Tjäktja, Alesjaure and Abiskojaure) which open a week earlier (June 17). So until then, there will be no local information available regarding the snow/water situation. And most probably no transport available over the lakes either.
