Finns någon som har CN v8 på microSD och har lyckats föra över kartan till Mapsource? I så fall hur gör man?
Hittade förljande på ett forum på Yahoo (har själv inte koll på detta!);

No, yes and maybe ;-) You need to understand the mechanics.
City Select (you don't say which version & region) came on CD's or a DVD. As such it is locked and only works on units (up to two) for which you've unlocked it. When you write its maps to the microSD (much
smaller than a standard SD) card the unlock code(s) are encrypted in the map file (gmapsupp.img). You can copy that file to another card and/or put it in another unit but it'll only work if there's a second
unlock code encrypted in the file. So the short answer is no your CS maps won't work in another unit.
Garmin's Topo maps are not locked and therefore the above doesn't apply to them. If they're mixed with CS maps on the same card you should still be able to view them. So yes they'll work.
Finally you can now buy many Garmin maps products preloaded on cards.
I believe that these cards *can* be moved between units. That's because the map data is locked to the card itself rather than a specific GPS unit. However you can't just copy the card and have it work. That's because SD ("Secure Digital") cards have copy protection
built-in. If you want to know the details go to this site and scroll down to Copyright Protection.
