Garmin
Här kommer det svar jag fick från Garmin när jag ställde samma fråga förra året
MVH/Jan
"Thank you for contacting GARMIN.
The detail in the two products are the same. Mostly it depends on the GARMIN unit you own. Units like the III+ have limited download memory (1.44MB)
and cannot download map detail from MetroGuide (its mapsets are too data dense). For the III+, 12Map, 162, 168, and NavTalk, Roads and Recreation is
appropriate.
MetroGuide will download mapsets to blank data cards for use with the eMap, StreetPilot, ColorMap, and 295, as well as to the eTrex Legend, eTrex Vista and
GPSMAP 76. The other big difference is that MetroGuide contains address information, whereas R&R does not. When MetroGuide mapsets are in the
appropriate units noted above, the unit address and POI lookup functions will be enabled. R&R will not do this.
Please be sure to view the detail in the products with our Viewer again. And, as the website notes, "The current map coverage for Sweden includes about
296,600 km of roadways (67.4% of all roads), about 202 municipalities, 53 major cities in street-level detail and the area inhabited by up to 43.2% of the Swedish
population. The northern most coverage includes Amal, Bengtsfors, Ed and Skagarrak."
