=========
Q: The skate shown on your long track page, what model is it?
A: Thanks for the mail. Sorry for the incompleteness of the website. My designer has been working on it for month and I told him to make it active now.
The skate on the pictures is a klapskate for the ski boot, Salomon XC skating type. You have to drill one hole in the heel of the boot to mount it.
It was tested last year and skaters like it a lot.
=========
Q: Thanks for your swift reply! I happen to own Salomon XC boots. Some questions:
-Is it possible to easily remove the clap skate from the boot? Swedish long distance skating often involves walking some distances.
-Is it possible to adjust the skate length/sideways?
-Can I buy it from a dealer in Sweden? Any names? Directly from you, price?
A: I know that you have to walk when skating in Sweden. The boot however is more or less fixed to the blades with one screw and you can not disasemble to set without a using a tool. I designed it for the people overhere that want more "skate" then a Almgren type offers. The Maple XC skates like regular klapskate, has bi-metal steel. You can adjust the front end of the boot sideways.
I have a dealer in Sweden called Skridskospecialisten.

Skridskospecialistens hemsida: http://www.skridskospecialisten.se/
