@skogsmulle68 Whats inside the sleeping kit that you got at the STF store? And also, are you saying I can make do with just the sheet and pillow cover ? and without the sleeping bag?

Hello all -- I was wondering if anyone has experience staying in STF huts during Covid? Their website says you have to bring a sleeping bag AND sheets + pillow cover. I would really like to avoid carrying so much sleeping gear. Does anyone know what the minimum acceptable gear would be okay? Or...

@elinalicia wow amazing tips, thank you! so these "Varma koppen" are available in the huts and are gluten free? If so that's great. Right now I'm leaning towards just bringing enough food for 3 meals every day, total of 8 days. For breakfast and dinner freeze dried meals, and for lunch energy...

@Kimkim @smux thank you both. Fully noted that I can't rely on anything to be in stock. Great idea to call and ask, I'll try to do that. I'll update here if I get any useful info, for anyone else that might be interested.

@Fjällkjell Ofcourse I didn't doubt that it was really gluten free 😅 I was just not sure if this item actually is in stock in most stores, because the menu says that sometimes things aren't. Was also wondering if there are any others available that aren't marked on the menu.

@Noun @Pryl-o-man. Wow I had no idea this was an actual potential problem. Is this only a worry for that section of the hike and not in other sections? From other "cabin" trails I've done in the world I just assumed that you don't need tents if you sleep in cabins every night.

@Celeste_26 -- thanks this is really useful. I was hoping it was the case since it saves me an entire day! I don't think we'll bring a tent tho, in the interest of traveling light. Will just hope that we can make all of our reservations. @Swift -- thanks this is great, especially for that website!
