Ok, so I assume this should be the boat to Ängsö ? Do you need a permit to get on the Ängsö island? Or you just hop on the boat, go there, hike, and take the return boat in the afternoon? thanks

Thank you, i'll figure that out with the Vårdcentralen. I always thought if I spread some tick spray on my boots before the hike and then avoid sitting in the grass, on broken trees, etc, I'll probably be fine.

Where do you go to get the TBE vaccine ?

Thanks for the advice. Are those vaccines safe ? Are you guys taking it ? I mean, I've had ticks bite me many times before and I'm still alive... had one in my leg a few weeks ago, but yes, you never really know with these things.
